car paint??

I rubbed up on a black pole with my car. It didnt take the paint off, yet there is black paint on my car! is there anything i can do to take that paint off so i dont have to go get my car painted again! i dont have that kinda money!!

1. There are several products out there. "Detailers clay" probably will. There are also several types of "cutting" or "cleaning" polishes that will also. Whatever you use, make sure you put a couple coats of wax back on. You can also try some of the "non toxic" paint/graffiti removers (Goof off is really strong, and will take the wax, clear coat, and probably the paint off."
2. Some nail polish remover on a tissue will work for you.It will not harm the paint,
3. A high power/heat pressure washer should take it off, I know it works when people get road paint on their cars. You could contact a body shop to see how much it would cost.
