How much does car paint cost?

I am trying to find out how much car paint cost dark blue color, and where can i find it? The car is a chrysler sebring 1999 How much will it cost me to buy the paint for the whole car? I am painting the car on my own Also Any tips ?

1. I would just say go to Maaco and get it done. They usually have $199 paint specials including one coat of primer and color. Thats the best you can do otherwise its not going to look right because you wont have the right equipment and itll just end up looking like you spray painted it when residue falls in it.
2. since your an amateur I would suggest prep the car for paint, fill any dents with body filler and sand it down smooth. Then take it to Maaco and let them paint it for you. It will be far cheaper than buying your own gun, an air compressor that can handle the gun. Paint is expensive. To have Maaco paint it, and if you sand the car well. dont sand through to bare metal. No shiny spots, and let them pain it. I have heard maaco horror stories, but if you prep the car yourself and tape it off yourself it will turn out fine.
3. google the kind of paint you want normally its 35-40 bucks a gallon and you will need about 2 gallons of paint and a gallon of clear if you really want it to shine
