Car Paint Company

Do some people get their cars painted for free by big companies who use their vehicles for advertising?

Have you ever seen a car/truck etc. with maybe a "Sunkist" logo? Or, maybe a "Snickers" logo? I have seen a few of them. I also saw one that said "Country Time Lemonade." So, how does this occur? Do the companies paint the person's car for free...the trade-off being free advertising for the company? How do people attain these paint jobs? Or, am I way off? Do people actually pay to have this sort of paint work done on their cars? (My car needs paint! I wanna contact some company, if they actually offer to paint vehicles in this fashion). : )

  1. They're not painted...its a vinyl wrapper. There are some companies that pay to advertise on your car but the real ones are few and the scams are many.
  2. usually it is schools doing the work free for them to practice.
  3. Yes, it happens, but getting to be one of the lucky ones is difficult. I'm sure they're inundated with requests to use someone's car for advertising with the sweetner being a fresh paint job, too. Good luck obtaining one. You might try a local business, they might be more inclined to do that, than a big national chain.
