Do some people get their cars painted for free by big companies who use their vehicles for advertising?
Have you ever seen a car/truck etc. with maybe a "Sunkist" logo? Or, maybe a "Snickers" logo? I have seen a few of them. I also saw one that said "Country Time Lemonade." So, how does this occur? Do the companies paint the person's car for free...the trade-off being free advertising for the company? How do people attain these paint jobs? Or, am I way off? Do people actually pay to have this sort of paint work done on their cars? (My car needs paint! I wanna contact some company, if they actually offer to paint vehicles in this fashion). : )

- They're not painted...its a vinyl wrapper. There are some companies that pay to advertise on your car but the real ones are few and the scams are many.
- usually it is schools doing the work free for them to practice.
- Yes, it happens, but getting to be one of the lucky ones is difficult. I'm sure they're inundated with requests to use someone's car for advertising with the sweetner being a fresh paint job, too. Good luck obtaining one. You might try a local business, they might be more inclined to do that, than a big national chain.
