How to get a scrape off car paint?

I scraped a painted wooden pole, and now there's red paint going alongside my car. My paint is not scratched and I can scrape the red off. Is there something else I can use to wipe it off?

1. T-cut will polish it off. If you cannot get any use Brasso or a mild abrasive metal polish. I have used a steel wool Brillo pad ( sometimes called wire wool) followed by Brasso.
2. TAKE IT TO A BODY SHOP AND HAVE IT REMOVED PROPERLY
3. plain old rubbing compound, and elbow grease
4. use sol-u-mel by melaleuca. it removes paint and will not harm car
