Does anyone know how to remove pecan stains from car paint work?

I parked my car under a pecan tree..after it rained, I have dark stains on my car's paint work. Does anyone know how to remove them from (silver) paint work?

1. My wife parked my BMW 540i under a pecan tree for several days. I'm spending today hand buffing out the stains with Turtle Wax Rubbing Compound. This is an abrasive cleaner, but it is removing the stains and not leaving scratches. just follow the directions. 2. Any good car wax should do the trick.
